Gladiator Shoes
How many times have you seen a pair of shoes that just seemed way over the top for your personal preferences? I know it has been more than a few times for me. I used to stay away from extravagant designs or shoes made out of animal skins. Then again, that was the old me!
Nowadays, patched up artworks seem to be the new hot trend in the shoe industry. We see shoes that remind us of rainbows with all those colors messed into each other or with the various mixes of materials used to not only create our shoes but also to decorate them. Whenever I saw shoes made out of alligator or snake skin, I would go ballistic. They seemed either too old fashioned or just too much for my tastes. Again, those times are long gone now. I currently have 7 different animal skin shoes and I plan to increase that number by a whole lot in the next few months to come. I am just in love with them. Not only do they make the shoe much longer lasting, they also add to the design with their diverse colors. No wonder we see them featured as one of this year’s list of trendiest styles.
Talking about trendiest styles… it’s worth taking a look at some of the other styles that joined in on that list. First off, I am so happy to say that gladiator shoes were right on top. They are the best choice for women who want comfortable shoes for their feet while staying in line with fashion. Durable, yet stylish and extravagant yet so natural looking makes gladiator shoes the best choice for your footwear. Further down the list, we saw peep-toe sandals as they are the dominant choice for those seeking to show off how hard they worked on their pedicures, while not disclosing the rest of the package. Flowered designs came up next – that’s an old time classic though, so no reason to spend more time on them and finally platforms. I am not a big fan of platforms but I am sure you’ll agree that they can work wonders when worn the right way for some of us. They make us look taller and height is very important since, when not overdone, it makes us look thinner. At this point, I am sure you are wondering where you can get a copy of that list, right? Well that’s the thing… you can’t. I just made it up. Would love to hear your thoughts about it though!
